Latch troubleshootingUpdated 5 days ago
Condition 1 cases use spring-loaded draw latches designed for repeated use. New latches may be firm and will break in with normal use.
Latches feel too loose
- Confirm the latch is fully engaged; press it down until it clicks into the keeper.
- Inspect the latch keeper for bending or deformation. A slightly bent keeper may be carefully returned to position. A cracked or broken keeper should be reported as a warranty claim.
If the case will not stay securely closed due to a defective latch, submit a warranty claim at [email protected] with photos.
Latches are too stiff
Stiffness in new latches is normal and lessens with use. If a latch is completely seized, check for debris or grit in the mechanism and clean with a soft brush. Latches bent from impact should be reported for warranty evaluation.
